Alex Ingram
Counsellor
Hi, I’m Alex. I’m a trainee therapist at the Minster Centre in London and a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in line with their Ethical Guidelines. I also trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, using theatre as a tool for personal and social change. My career has taken me across creative, tech, and community settings. I know that starting, or returning to, therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be deeply rewarding.
I practice an integrative approach to counselling. This means I draw upon many different approaches and use what feels right for each client and what may come up in the therapy. This may involve exploring the past as well as working with the here-and-now. Therapy can sometimes feel challenging, but warmth and empathy are my guiding principles in how I work.
