Bill Asquith

Counsellor

About Me:

Hello I’m Bill, a trainee therapist at the Minster Centre in North London. The first thing I would say is well done for considering therapy. It can feel daunting to talk to someone, but I know from my own experience that it can be the first step to greater wellbeing.

What to Expect:

I’m a warm and empathetic person. Our time together will provide you with a space to talk about whatever you like, in trust and without judgement.

My Approach:

My training takes in lots of different approaches to therapy, so we would work together to find what works best for you. In my view at the heart of therapy is the idea that connecting more to what we really feel helps us to connect more to ourselves and others. This can lead to a greater sense of wellbeing and security in ourselves and our relationships.

Area of Focus:

There are lots of different issues people bring to therapy. You might want help with anxiety, low mood or depression, or you might want to talk about your identity, relationships or work. Some people just want to talk about what’s on their mind. My approach will be to support you with whatever it is you want to talk about, so that together we can help you bring about a positive change in your life.

Lets Connect:

If you feel I might be a good therapist for you then I would be very glad to hear from you. We would meet to discuss what you would like to talk about and decide together if I am the right therapist for you.
