Jack Richard

Counsellor

About Me:

Hello, I’m Jack and I’m an integrative humanistic counsellor training at CPPD on the Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling. As an individual I am warm, caring, and empathetic and care deeply about the wellbeing of others. I am aware of the challenges that life brings and know about the transformative power that therapy can have on making life’s challenges feel that little bit more surmountable.

What to Expect:

I work in a collaborative and supportive manner. You can expect our sessions to be non-directive, facilitative as opposed to advice led, and with time, for you to feel a greater sense of empowerment and wellbeing.

My Approach:

Effective listening is at the heart of effective counselling. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to explore your inner thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you. Furthermore, I am a student member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical guidelines.

Area of Focus:

I am knowledgeable about a broad range of health challenges including depression, anxiety, addiction, stress, self-esteem, relationship challenges, insomnia, challenges facing men, anger management and personal development.

Lets Connect:

If you would like to work with me please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can schedule a session. I am here for you and here to support you. I know that beginning a counselling journey feels daunting, but I also know it to be one of the most valuable experiences we can ever have. I look forward to meeting you soon.
