Jennie Rickell
Counsellor
I’m a queer, integrative psychotherapist in training at Roehampton University. I offer a grounded and compassionate space where you can explore what feels most true and alive for you. My approach focuses on the body-mind, recognising that our stories are held not only in our thoughts but also in the ways we breathe, move and feel. Together, we can listen to these embodied stories and explore what they may be seeking: understanding, release or change.
Healing happens in relationship, and this is the heart of my practise. Through empathy, safety and genuine human connection, I aim to support you in connecting with your authenticity and what makes you feel alive. My practice is aware of how larger systems, such as racism, ableism, neuro-normativity and heteronormativity, shape the ways we experience the world. As a queer, neurodivergent woman, I bring lived experience of navigating difference, alongside deep respect for the ways people adapt, protect and express themselves. I believe there is no one right way to be or to heal. Therapy can be a space to explore the many versions of you: the ones that have learned to survive and the ones that long to feel fully alive.
