About Morven

I am doing an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and have a background in education where I gained considerable experience in pastoral care and supporting young adults through a range of challenges. This has informed my belief in the importance of empathy, understanding and creating a safe space where people feel heard. I bring a genuine curiosity about people’s unique lived experiences and a compassionate presence to whatever you’d like to talk about.

As an integrative therapist in training, I primarily draw on person centred, existential and psychodynamic approaches. This means I can adapt our work to suit your individual needs. I will meet you with warmth, empathy and respect, supporting you in exploring questions around meaning and how you relate to yourself and others. I believe the relationship between client and counsellor is at the heart of the process, and I aim to create a trusting environment where you can express yourself fully and freely.
