Rebecca Merry

Hello, I’m Rebecca. I am a trainee counsellor with CPPD London. I am deeply passionate about advocating for human rights and have years of experience working alongside refugee communities in France, Greece and the UK. I have worked with people from all over the world and believe that an awareness of culture is an important factor in developing a strong, understanding and trusting relationship, especially within a therapeutic space.

My training is broad in that it is humanistic-integrative. Humanistic, in brief, means to see the good and potential in others, and integrative means that I draw from many different models of therapy to adapt to the individual. I am also interested in how past experiences impact the present day and the impact of relationships, whether familial or romantic, on the self.
