About Samuele

I’m a trainee counsellor registered with BACP and working within their ethics. I’m currently studying Integrative counselling and psychotherapy at The Minster Centre. I’ve lived in the UK for over 10 years, and as a foreigner and part of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m also aware of how socialisation and minority stress can affect us and our sense of belonging. My background in art and design has nurtured my curiosity in people’s unique ways of seeing and making sense of things.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative. I welcome your exploration of past and early relationships, with all the messages and experiences we had to take in. We’ll try to witness what remains unconscious in the way we navigate the world. I like to look at the past in a generative way, as something that makes us unique rather than something to fix or repair. I value your experience in the present, your agency, and your choices. I’m interested in psychodynamic work and psychoanalysis. I also stay grounded in the present of our relationship, in line with humanistic and body-informed approaches.
